About the artist

Jason Clark
Beginning with the purchase of a modest $200 lathe and a few basic gouges in February 2005 Jason has spent the last 2 years learning the fine art of woodturning. Jason is primarily self taught, spending countless hours in front of his lathe perfecting technique and form. In addition to various saws, (tablesaw, bandsaw, jigsaw, compound mitre saw, circular saw, handsaw) Jason currently uses turning tools from Crown Hand Tools Ltd, Robert Sorby, and Doug Thompson, Lathes from Powermatic and Jet, and uses a Husqvarna chainsaw to cut logs to size.

Jason is a proud member of the Arizona Woodturners Association, American Association of Woodturners, and the International Association of Penturners.
